Field Support Technician - Aerospace
Key responsibilities
- support and maintain electrical and hydraulic Test Equipment and Aircraft Ground
Support Equipment - troubleshoot, repair and calibrate Test Equipment at US customer locations
- assist our US customers in cooperation with US and Austrian colleagues
- elaborate and review spare part packages
- manage tooling and support equipment
- create maintenance, test and calibration protocols and reports
- production support (test bench assembly)
Requirements
- high school diploma and associates degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology and
minimum of 3+ years’ experience in Field Service - BS degree in technical field or applied technology is a plus
- sufficient experience to demonstrate troubleshooting ability of fluid, electrical and/
or mechanical systems is a plus - organizational skills to keep tools and paperwork organized while in the field
- willingness and ability to travel within the United States (approx. 50% travelling)
- ability to interpret electrical, mechanical and fluid schematics
- written and verbal communication skills to understand issues customers have and to
explain technical information to customers in clear terms - experience with automated test, measurement, and control equipment is a plus
- computer and technical skills to understand the equipment fully
