Our US-location (founded in 2017), and the second global equipment production facility, currently employs around 20 highly qualified employees and offers plenty of room for further growth and personal development. We are hiring a Mechanical /Hydraulic Design Engineer for Ohio, Brecksville.
Responsibilities
- Concept, plan and design of test system for international aviation customers
- Selection, design and construct of mechanical and hydraulic assemblies and individual parts
- Design of UUT adaptions and machine elements
- Design implementation of the fluid technological part of the products
- Dimensioning and design of drive trains for a wide variety of speed and torque ranges.
- Develop hydraulic schematics
- Create documentation for commissioning and maintenance instructions
- Assist with hydraulic commissioning of products
- Coordinate requirements internally and with external suppliers
Qualifications
- Bachelor of science degree in engineering required, or equivalent period of experience
- 5+ years of relevant engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
- Technical knowledge and expertise in mechanical/fluid systems
- CAD proficiency in both 2D and 3D environments
- Basic project / process management skills
- Knowledge of controls technology and BOM management is a plus
- Proficient in reading and developing hydraulic / electrical schematics
- Computer and MS Office skills
- Openness to international collaboration
