Mechanical / Hydraulic Design Engineer - Aerospace

Key responsibilities

  • concept, plan and design of test system for international aviation customers
  • selection, design and construct of mechanical and hydraulic assemblies and individual
  • design of UUT adaptions and machine elements
  • design implementation of the fluid technological part of the products
  • simensioning and design of drive trains for a wide variety of speed and torque ranges.
  • develop hydraulic schematics
  • create documentation for commissioning and maintenance instructions
  • assist with hydraulic commissioning of products
  • coordinate requirements internally and with external suppliers


  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering required
  • 5+ years of relevant engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
  • MBA degree in technical field or applied technology is a plus
  • technical knowledge and expertise in mechanical/fluid systems
  • CAD proficiency in both 2D and 3D environments
  • basic project/process management skills
  • knowledge of controls technology and BOM management is a plus
  • proficient in reading hydraulic/electrical schematics
  • computer and MS Office skills
  • willingness to international collaboration
